I am an academician with over a year of experience in the Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management area. My dissertation focuses on the use of nudges and related concepts to help individuals make better decisions. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I completed my Master in Business Administration in HR from the Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development. Post my MBA, I worked with Jardine Lloyd Thompson India Private Limited (now Marsh McLennan Global Services India Private Limited), an insurance broking firm, first as a management trainee and then as a Manager in the Human Resource Department. During my stint with JLT India, I worked with the different functions within the HR department, including talent acquisition, talent management, HR operations, learning and development, and talent analytics. This multi-faceted experience in the Human Resource function enabled me to make relevant and informed decisions during my corporate career as well as later on while undertaking varied research pursuits.
