Dr. Divya Tyagi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance, O.P. Jindal Global University. She has completed her doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management Indore in the area of Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management. Before joining the Ph.D. program at IIM Indore, she has worked in the Information Technology industry for three years.

Her thesis titled, A breach at the line of cleanliness: understanding the influence of dirty workers’ identity characteristics on their work and non-work lives, focuses on exploring the influence of dirty workers’ caste on how they perceive, experience, and respond to their work and the taint associated with it. Her articles have been published in notable peer-reviewed management journals, such as the International Journal of Human Resource Management and Journal of Knowledge Management. One of the essays of her dissertation has been adjudged as the Finalist for the All-Academy Carolyn B. Dexter Award for the Best International Paper at the Academy of Management Conference 2023. She is also the recipient of the best paper awards at the Academy of Management Conference 2023, the Indian Academy of Management Conference 2023 and 2024, and the IIMI-GIZ Conference 2022.
