Crompton Innovation Challenge “Platform for Innovator”

The Crompton – Startup India Challenge offers an exciting platform for startups to showcase their innovative ideas, while providing the opportunity to co-create with Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, one of India’s leading consumer companies with a legacy spanning over 75 years. In addition to manufacturing, Crompton markets a wide range of consumer products, including fans, lamps, luminaires, pumps, and household appliances like water heaters, coolers, mixer grinders, and irons.

Through this Challenge, Crompton invites technologists, inventors, and startups from the home appliances sector to develop products featuring breakthrough innovations and novel applications. The top startups will be selected to collaborate with Crompton in building a tailor-made prototype. Additionally, these startups will have the chance to become a technology partner or supplier to Crompton.

Program Details

Detailed Eligibility Criteria

1. Any Indian Startups, SMEs, Entrepreneurs and academia
2. Employees of the Company, its Affiliates, distributors, appointed agency/entity holding the Challenge, their families and immediate relatives are not eligible to participate in the program.
3. The Challenge is valid for Indian nationals residing in India who are 21 years of age or above
4. Any of the following stages will be qualified
   1. Technology or innovation proof of concept (POC) is ready
   2. Market Ready Product
   3. Deployed solution which requires further scaling up
5. The product or technology should be tangible with the expected technology or Innovation
6. The patented technology will be preferred
